The public is invited to view a traveling exhibit on Native Americans in Kansas that is on display in April in the library at Seward County Community College, 1801 N. Kansas in Liberal. The exhibit reflects their lives, their heritage and what it means to be Indian in today’s society. Nineteen award-winning portraits capture the diversity of the state’s Native American communities. This exhibit was produced by the Mid-America All-Indian Center with partial funding from the Kansas Humanities Council. April is National Community College Month.
