The public is invited to two spring concerts this month on the Seward County Community College campus.
The Formal Concert will be at 7:30 p.m., April 26 in the SCCC Theater, featuring the Wind Ensemble, Singing Saints Concert Choir and cameo performances.
The Pops Concert is at 7:30 p.m., April 28 in the SCCC Theater, featuring Sound Express Show Choir and cameo performances.
Members of the Wind Ensemble are Lydia Augustine, Okoya James, Trina Fosdick, Ty Pittser, Carina Diaz de Leona and Jacob Day, all of Liberal; Tiffany Bowen and Loren Dillon, both of Hooker, Okla.; Lacy Garcia, Lakin; Elisa Labra, Plains; Derek Bridenstine and Jacob Hampton, both of Turpin, Okla.; and Diana Askew, Hugoton.
Choir students include Ben Allen, Hillary Brown, Cherie Carter, Angie Chacon, Carina Diaz de Leon, Victoria Jacob, Sergio Padilla, Jacob Riggs, Melissa Sabillon, Olian Thompson, Kayla Wright, Dennis Owens, Adam Semisch, Rosendo Armendariz, Monica Kerbo, Wesley Clark, Virginia Grant, Trina Fosdick, Jennifer Hataway, all of Liberal; Christina Canterbury, Tyrone, Okla.; Marisa Chavez, Beaver, Okla.; Ciara Greenwood, Chelsea Lackey, both of Hugoton; Trisha Keahey of Meade; Rachel McDonald, Courtney Sander, Cara Wright, Derek Bridenstine, all of Turpin; Pam Pierce, Satanta; Rene Thomas of Bartlesville, Okla.; Jimmy Ortiz, Ulysses; Tammy Wardlaw, Lubbock, Texas; Jenica Moore of Moscow. Featured soloists will be Brown, Diaz de Leon, Wardlaw, Bridenstine, Ortiz, Kerbo, Thomas and Fosdick.
Tickets are $2 per performance and may be purchased in advance in the SCCC Humanities Office, 1801 N. Kansas or by calling 620-417- 1451.
SCCC students and courtesy card holders are free with an ID.
Money raised will go to the SCCC Development Foundation.
